LOVE'S LABOURS WON

2025
(full-length play | unproduced)

A love-letter to the Bard, poetry, and stopping self-doubt get in the way

One-sentence synopsis: A freshly-minted English teacher, Cyn is sent to a school in far-western Victoria to fill a vacancy. An academic in another life, she hasn’t counted on Year Nine’s unique ability to kick the niceties off her assumptions and show her the truth in poetry.

A Shakespearean comedy for the present, Love’s Labours Won is a love-letter to the Bard, poetry, and performing, that asks how do we reconcile what is with what might have been, how do we stop self-doubt getting in the way, and how do we love now?
